Cleanliness We ask that you clean up after yourself, especially in shared spaces like the kitchen and living area. A tidy space makes for a comfortable stay for everyone. Pet Policy We welcome your furry friends! However, please keep pets off the furniture and beds. If your pet sheds excessively, kindly help us by cleaning up after them. Quiet Hours To ensure everyone has a restful stay, we kindly ask that you observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. As this is a duplex, you may share a wall with another guest, so we appreciate your help in keeping noise levels low, especially during these hours. Your consideration makes a big difference in ensuring a peaceful experience for everyone. Trash and Recycling Please dispose of trash and recycling properly. Use the designated bins provided, and take the trash out to the bins in the rear of the property before you check out. Respect for the Property Please treat our home with care. Any damages beyond normal wear and tear will be billed to the guest. Check-Out Procedures Upon departure, please follow our check-out procedures, which include locking all doors and windows and ensuring all personal items are removed. Smith University, a private historically Black university with 1,300 students, is to the neighborhood’s northeastern border. The institution is integral to Seversville’s history and culture. My favorite Airbnb stay of all times! John and Cathy are a gem and gift to this world! Their white glove service and attention to detail make every previous Airbnb stay pale in comparison. Loved the local park, the neighbors, the charming firehouse and history of the area. A true gift, all around!

Amazing hosts. They responded to questions as soon as they could. The space was spotless and was perfect for a family of 3. It is close to everything from restaurants and coffee shops. I highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. It was spotless and conveniently located a short drive to uptown (downtown). The neighborhood was quiet and we walked to a couple of coffee shops nearby. (1 mile and a half mile.) The unit is a duplex and we could only hear the neighbors when they were shrieking young kids. :) The hosts were clear and helpful with communication and made us feel very welcome.

Travel by Bike or Scooters Feeling more adventures, use the hundreds of bike-sharing options are scattered throughout the city. Charlotte Joy Rides has more than 20 bike docks, where you can swipe your credit card to rent a bike in 30-minute increments. And dockless bike-sharing companies like LimeBike, Mobike and Spin offer riders the option to pick up and leave their colorful two-wheelers in whatever legal spot they like. (The wheels lock when no one is using them.) Download the companies’ smartphone apps to rent the bikes. For those quick trips, keep an eye out for dockless, electric scooters that are scattered around the city.
